Of all the marketing models, the principles of the advertising mix are probably the most commonly taught marketing theories and maybe the most frequently utilized advertising tools within the growth of organizations’ advertising and marketing methods. The term advertising combine is believed to have first been used by Neil H. Borden in 1965. The original advertising mix consisted of twelve elements truth finding and evaluation, planning, pricing, branding, channels, selling, promoting, promotions, packaging, display, servicing, and handling. Over the years these principles of the advertising combine have developed into the 4P’s product, price, place, and position.
The Internet’s most obvious profit is the elimination of geographic and time constraints.
